Our Current Operations
We support street vendors with unexpected gifts to enhance their businesses; we support gifted but financially challenged students to attend a four year university in Ghana; we pay for pediatric hospital patients in Ghana to receive just in time interventions such as MRIs, CTscans, and medications that are not covered by the national health insurance. In the USA, we contribute both funds and equipment to give homeless clients a meal, and sometimes short term housing.
Our Core Value
This NGO is focused on transparency. All too often, NGOs and Donors spend much less on their intended beneficiaries then on their staff and administrative costs. They hire many staff, require large offices and cars, and if you dig deep, less than 50% of their income go to the beneficiaries. Sometimes even less. We are strikingly different. Our expenses have been at 10% or less since inception, and the bulk of the funds goes straight to our clients- so that they can feel a direct and tangible benefit. We also make sure you, the donor, knows exactly what happens with your donation. We are transparent about all our costs- just ask to see our books!
