Pediatric Care

Social Justice Global provides medical assistance for underserved communities- particularly children from low-income families in Ghana. Through our services, they are able to access essential medical care. Our support helps cover medicines, diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans and MRIs, and other treatments that families may not otherwise be able to afford.

The Challenge

Although public hospitals provide medical staff and beds, everything else in public hospitals, from the most basic of things (IVs, needles, drugs, etc) are to be bought by the patient and their families prior to being attended to. The only exemption from this rule are children under 5, who receive free or reduced fee attendance for uncomplicated illnesses.

Our Work

Since 2018, Social Justice Global has supported pediatric patients facing serioius illnesses and financial hardship. We have helped families pay for diagnostic testing, medicines, procedures and other essential medical needs.
